The Institute of Hospitality Management has been established with a view to provide relevant education to meet the requirement of Hotel Industry which has immense potential requirement. This is the only Industry next to Information and Technology that has grown into a major sector of the most countries economy. In recent past there has been an influx of foreign tourists in India. The Centre and State Governments are working on various Projects to facilitate these Tourists.
The hospitality and tourism sector needs trained professionals. The IHM will pave way for young men and women who wish to join this booming Industry where immense job opportunities are waiting for them. I think with an experience of 20 years as a professional in Hotel Industry, I along with other professionals who are associated with IHM shall be able to mould young men and women with our pertinent endeavour and quality education into trained professionals who with required experience may play a leading role in different organizations of Hospitality Industry.
